On 8 December 2003 DENIC starts up the operation of a new .de name server in Berlin. This also means, that from now one DENIC is operating all name servers, which contain the accesss information of all .de domains by itself.

2 October 2003: ICANN Reform: Predominant Doubts by Domain Administrators
On the 4th two-day meeting of the ICANN-Studienkreise on 3 and 4 February the administrators of the national domain country codes appeared predominantly pessimistic about the perspectives of the reform of the international domain administration ICANN, which were decided in December 2002.
