Domain owners have again received a letter with a dubious domain service offer, this time from a so-called "Zentrale zur Registrierung Deutscher Web-Domains ZRW". A similar letter has circulated about a month ago from a company with the name "Deutsche Domain-Verwaltung DDV". DENIC eG as registry for .de domains again cautions all domain owners that this is not an invoice for a .de domain, but rather an attempt to extract money from customers for a senseless and dubious service. If you do not pay your .de domain is neither in danger, nor will anything change with respect to its connectivity.
