Germany is the world's leading nation with respect to websites
According to a study of OECD, Germany last year had 84.7 websites per 1,000 people, followed by Denmark with 71.7 and Norway with 66.4 respectively.
The high number is explained by the ease and cheapness with wich in Germany websites can be set up (either using an own domain or under the address of an Internet Service Provider such as T-Online or AOL).
