Domain pulse in Vienna from 21 to 22 February 2008

For the fifth time already, the international symposium Domain pulse, jointly organized by the registries of the German-speaking countries, DENIC (Germany), SWITCH (Switzerland) and nic.at (Austria), is held on 21 and 22 February. About 250 experts are discussing up-to-date topics from the fields of domain and Internet on the two days. On 21 February, the topics on the agenda include “The Domain Name System and the Next Generation Internet”, Internet Governance as well as news from the three registries organizing the get-together. On 22 February, the domain experts will deal with “Future visions in the Internet”, the Internet infrastructure and security matters like identity theft and pishing.
