10th ENUM Day of DENIC on 18 April 2008 in Frankfurt am Main
On 18 April 2008 DENIC will host the 10th ENUM Day. The event takes places in the Le Meridien hotel in Frankfurt, Wiesenhüttenplatz 28-38 (close to Frankfurt central railway station). The ENUM Day begins at 10 a.m. and ends approximately at 4.30 p.m. Participation is free of charge. Please register for this event via our web form.
On the agenda are looks beyond German borders on the development of ENUM in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands as well as the application of this technology in IP Multimedia Subsystems (IMS) which facilitates the access to all kinds of communication services from different networks.
The morning session provides presentation on ENUM in the UK and the Netherlands as well as an update on the standardisation of ENUM at ETSI (European Telecommunications Standards Institute). ENUM is about to become publicly available in both the UK and the Netherlands. In the afternoon, participants will get to know some of the advantages of ENUM-able telephony solutions for companies and the role of ENUM in the proliferation of IMS. Other topics are ENUM services to be realised in an IMS testbed and the advantages of hosted IMS solutions for companies.
